Promises and pitfalls of the 28th regime for companies
A Franco-German discussion
14 October 2026 | 6:30 – 8:00 pm
Grande Galerie of Morning Panoramas | 36 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris
The 28th regime for companies is intended to promote innovation and strengthen European competitiveness. However, designing this regime is proving to be a complex undertaking and raises questions regarding its scope and legal details.
We would like to advance this debate from a Franco-German perspective: What form should a 28th regime for businesses take? What priorities should be set, and what decisions need to be taken to enable businesses to derive added value? What should France and Germany contribute to the debate?
The event is organised by the Jacques Delors Centre and the German Embassy in Paris. It forms part of the Pariser Platz Dialogue, which brings together German, French, and European figures to discuss key issues in European politics.
